Right before this video I was changing my daughters diaper. In a matter of minutes I had to re-change her because she was poopy. As I'm typing this I have applesauce on my leg and cottage cheese on my shirt. Things can get rough sometimes. During the middle of the video my daughter came up to me and wrapped her arms around my neck. She kissed my cheek and said, "I love you." She watched the rest of the video right by my side and at the end when everyone was saying, "Thank you" she said "dank you" and patted my back. Mothering is the hardest job I've ever had BUT I have never done anything else that has left me feeling so fulfilled. It is so rewarding.
That being said...
THANK YOU mom for working late nights. Thank you for working overtime on holidays and birthdays. Thank you for being willing to follow the "dress code" and wear applesauce and cottage cheese on your clothes daily. I can't pay you in money but I hope I can repay you through the way I live my life. You were and still are an amazing "director of operations" for Johnson Inc.
